Our instructors are highly trained and diligently prepared to provide excellence for you through our training programs.
Instructed by Warrior’s Rest Foundation ICISF-Approved Instructors
(In partnership with the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF))
Some incidents are too big for one-on-one support. When an entire team, unit, or community is impacted by trauma or a critical incident, group-based crisis intervention becomes essential. The Critical Incident Stress Management – Group course equips you to provide peer-led support in a structured, safe group setting.
This is ICISF’s Group Crisis Intervention course, often called "CISM-Group" in practice. It is a beginner-level, evidence-informed training designed to help you guide groups through psychological first aid and stress debriefing strategies.
In This Class, You’ll Learn:
- Dynamics of group crisis response
- Common psychological reactions in groups
- The difference between defusing and debriefing
- How to facilitate crisis intervention in group settings
- CISM team structure, roles, and responsibilities
Whether you're a peer supporter, team leader, chaplain, counselor, or first responder, this training prepares you to step in when your group needs support the most.
