Peer Support Team Training
Peer Support Training Options
Whether you are just starting out in peer support, or you're a confident pro who wants to continuously stay refreshed and current with your peer support education, we've got you covered.

Peer Teams
Building & managing a peer team can be challenging. We can help you face the challenges, earn respect for your team, and create a true system of support.

Keep Learning
You may be great at peer support, but all of us can keep learning and keep getting better. The more we learn, the better we can support others.Â
At Warrior’s Rest Foundation, our trained peer support team is made up of individuals and department teams who have completed our rigorous peer training process. Each of these peers has successfully completed both CISM-Individual and CISM-Group training developed by ICISF (International Critical Incident Stress Foundation).
We soon will also require completion of our WRF Peer Readiness Program, which prepares peers, peer support groups & leaders, and wellness coordinators to serve with compassion, professionalism, and the highest standards of peer support, representing Warrior's Rest and advocating with/for First Responders with excellence and superior standards.
Our peers are equipped to provide one-on-one support to First Responders who may be struggling, and to lead group debriefs and critical incident follow-up sessions in the aftermath of difficult or traumatic events. Every peer we call on has been vetted, trained, and approved to represent Warrior’s Rest Foundation in providing thoughtful, confidential support.
